| He worked at this townhome at 48 Doughty Street in Holburn, London WCI, in an upstairs study which overlooked the walled-in garden in back. It was the Dickens home from March 1837 to December 1839. The building now houses the most comprehensive Dickensian museum and is the headquarters of the Dickens Fellowship. | |
