A 'THANK YOU' TO ALL WHO HAVE
CONTRIBUTED TO BRANDI DOWNS!!

I have spoken with Brandi and as suspected, she left New Orleans with the shoes on her feet.....three pairs of shorts and four T shirts. That's it except for a little medicine and toiletries.

Brandi can use help. Even though the French Quarter 'appears' to have been spared much of the devastation... life won't be normal for a long, long time, maybe never. Television is somewhat deceiving because it doesn't show apartments that are soaked by turbulent winds and the looting that has been rampant. Brandi is, and was, a portrait artist. There aren't many tourists there right now. My wife and I had breakfast with Brandi and her son a week ago this morning, Saturday. We ate right in the French Quarter. Before eating our meal, we all joined hands and prayed. We prayed a prayer of Thanksgiving to God for giving us His Son. There was LITTLE discussion about Hurricane Katrina.

Brandi is SO thankful for your help and just can't say enough about people (that don't even know her) giving their hard earned money. BUT THIS IS WHAT ACV IS ABOUT!!!! IT IS THE SPIRIT OF JESUS!!!
