JILL GUTHRIE, Photography

God, family support and encouragement has played a tremendous part in Jill's life. As a child, Jill's Dad taught her the fundamentals of photography. He let her use one of the families 35mm cameras. College and modeling then created a drive to get behind the camera. She has worked intermittently in both the production world and the real estate industry. She has been in commercials and a stand in for "movie stars". In the media world she has executed various responsibilities including production assistant, craft service, casting, set stylist, and make up… both camera ready beauty and special effect i.e. scars, bruises, wigs and bald caps and on to photographer, and videographer. She has worked professionally photographing all walks of life from corporate events, weddings, families, schools, directors working with actors, commercially and numerous video production services. She has worked with McDonalds Corporation, Navistar Int'l Trucking, Cellular One/Celluland Communications, Developers Finance Corporation and now with Americas Christmas Village.

Her daughter is her pride and joy. She believes that success is in the journey and it is a process. One of her favorite ideologies is… "Treat others how you would want to be treated". She is very thankful for her family, her relationship with God and her ability to work hard and smart.
